The staff were helpful, but the room was dirty, with hair on the bathroom floor and trash that hadn’t been emptied; the internet connection was spotty.

The hotel’s location works well for anyone wanting to walk around downtown Anchorage, but that’s about it. A few homeless people around the hotel made me feel a little unsafe at times. The hotel does not have regular air conditioning; there is a portable unit in the room that actually works, but it’s the only cooling option. I’m not sure the value for money was worth it. Breakfast was advertised, yet what was actually provided was a bag with a frozen hamburger, a yogurt, a juice, and a small piece of cake, which didn’t justify the cost. For a bit more money I could have stayed at a better hotel. The cleanliness left something to be desired; I attached a photo of the elevator interior, where a piece of dental floss had been left for about two days.

“Nightmare stay. Will never happen again.”

It was the worst hotel ever; I didn’t stay the second night I paid for and didn’t even ask for a refund. I’m terribly disappointed with the website that recommended this place and will never use it again. The location was dirty, rundown, and full of junkies.
