East Sacred Hotel-Beijing

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The pedestrian street is two minutes away, the metro is also two minutes away, and the Forbidden City is nearby. The on‑site restaurant is also a plus, with tasty food. At breakfast there are no seats; the restaurant is not designed for that many guests. Seats only appear if you arrive at the very beginning. Reception staff know nothing – they don’t know where the pharmacy is or how to get to the station. The level of staff is very low. Breakfast is sparse.

“A very comfortable and productive short stay in Bejing and very good value for money.”

We spent a lovely couple of nights at the East Sacred Hotel, Beijing. The staff were very welcoming, the food was very good, especially the Peking Duck! Our room, though small, was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel’s location is ideal – a 15‑minute walk to Tiananmen Square, just around the corner from the Wanfujing shopping area.
