“An okay stay but I would probably choose another hotel next time”

The stay was fine and the hotel was convenient for our short stay in Melaka. I called ahead to confirm which room type had a bathtub and was told to book a Deluxe room, as the Superior and Deluxe King rooms did not have one. When I checked in, my Deluxe room only had a standing shower, and the reception staff said I should have specifically requested a bathtub. That was disappointing because the whole point of calling before booking was to confirm which room category I needed for a bathtub. I was later told that only a limited number of bathtub rooms were available because many had drainage issues. If a bathtub was subject to availability or a special request, this should have been clearly explained during my initial enquiry. The standing shower in my room also had very slow drainage.

“expensive but not proper facilities”

It was so expensive and the facilities were not good. The room itself was a negative.
