The close proximity to the beach was a plus, but the poor customer service and lack of an on‑site restaurant left me extremely disappointed. I told the property manager before arrival that I’d be traveling alone with my 7‑year‑old autistic son, not asking anyone to care for him, just hoping for a bit of understanding or extra help. Instead, the manager called me on check‑in day and spoke in an extremely rude and dismissive tone, saying they were “not babysitters” and could not take responsibility. I had to explain that I wasn’t expecting supervision, just asking for any extra assistance. I was already on the island and had no practical option but to keep the reservation. After checking in, I realized the place was not a full‑service hotel as the listing had suggested. There is no staffed front desk after 5:00 p.m., leaving guests without on‑site help in the evening for emergencies. For a property charging about $700 per night, that’s unacceptable. The amenities were also let down. The pool is very small, with one end roughly seven feet deep, making it less suitable for many families. The property does not provide complimentary beach chairs for guests, which is surprising for a beachfront resort at this price. One positive was the lady who helped guests with activities and local info; she was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and professional, the only staff member who made us feel genuinely welcome. The most concerning part of my experience happened when I checked out.

“Great Location by the Beach, Locked out of our Room for 2 hours because of incorrect code given”

My wife and I had a mixed experience at this resort. On the plus side, the location in Kihei was perfect, with a beautiful beach on the property and proximity to food and restaurants. The units were small but reasonably priced, and we appreciated the convenient parking at night, as well as the on-site store with snacks and scuba gear rentals.

Although there were a few issues with our room, the staff were very responsive and quick to address them, which saved our stay.

Unfortunately, my third stay at this resort was a letdown due to noisy construction that disrupted the entire beach. This was the third time I've encountered issues, with construction below our unit during my second stay. The noise was so severe that many guests left, and I don't plan on returning.
