GV Hotel - Lapu-Lapu City

The staff were super friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help, making me feel welcome right from the start. The location is great and close to just about everything, especially the Mercado, and there are plenty of transportation options nearby for exploring the area. I have RA, so climbing up and down the stairs can be quite difficult for me; an elevator would really help guests with mobility challenges, though I understand it isn’t the hotel’s fault. The bathroom could use a bidet spray for added convenience and comfort.

GV Hotel was mostly clean, which I liked, and they provided water on arrival, another nice touch. The air conditioner was refreshing. However, GV Hotel is very basic—only a bed, chair, table, and closet, no kettle which is standard in most rooms. The room was uncomfortably small; the bathroom was fine, but basic amenities like an electric shower and a bidet were missing. For the price, I expected more.

“Wasn’t great, air conditioning not working properly. Hot.”

The location was great, but the room was dirty, the AC wasn’t cold, and it was very dusty with furniture that needed cleaning. The toilet seat was broken and the sink was clogged, so it needs extensive cleaning, repair, and maintenance. Awful.

The hotel's ad didn't quite match the reality we experienced. Our sheets had visible stains, and we were surprised to find no hot water on the 5th floor. To make matters worse, there was no elevator, but the location was decent.
