The flat is spacious, with a large kitchen that has a small dining table, a big bathroom featuring a roomy shower, and plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. Its location is great for walking around the city centre and its tourist spots – the Del Capo market is less than 300 m away. Getting to the airport by bus is also convenient, about 10 min/700 m from the Politeama Theatre. Despite the prime spot, it stays quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The host sent us the key box code just before arrival and was reachable on WhatsApp, replying quickly to any questions. The downside is that the apartment feels a bit dark; only a narrow glazed double door leads to the French balcony in the kitchen, so daylight is needed during the day. At night the street where the entrance is located is lightly trafficked and poorly lit, which can feel odd at first. After checkout, you cannot leave luggage with the host or in the apartment until you head to the airport. At the end of the street, 30 m from the flat, we found a “Kipoint” post office that stays open all the time and accepts luggage for a reasonable fee (about 8 €/piece for us).

The place is close to the centre, clean, and the bed is comfortable. It should be noted that there are two stair ramps to reach the apartment, and one of the rooms has a private bathroom that is outside the room.

The property sits in an excellent spot, quiet at night but really close to the historic centre, practically behind the Massimo Theatre. The host is very attentive, the room is spotless and tidy, and the apartment is beautifully renovated, almost brand new. I recommend it to everyone; I stayed there with two very young children.

The location and cleanliness are good, and even though the private bathroom is outside the room we never ran into anyone, so privacy was never an issue.
