I spent a truly relaxing time at ARYA Resort. The villa was spotless and lovely, and the outdoor bathroom was especially nice. The pool area is fantastic, right on the beach with plenty of loungers, and they provide pool towels too. The food was delicious, and you could order drinks and meals straight to the pool or beach. I took a day trip to West Sumba, which was well worth it and well organized. Since the gym isn’t finished yet, I ran on the beach and on the quiet road just outside the resort, which was a good alternative for those who want to move around. Otherwise, there isn’t much else around the hotel (except for tours or renting a scooter/car), but it was just right for relaxing. As a solo woman traveler, I felt very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

A beautiful spot by the sea with good food! The spa wasn’t ready yet and the music in the restaurant was a bit off.

“Winderschöner Aufenthalt”

A dreamy place in a remote spot with a fantastic pool. The accommodations are very romantically situated. The staff are very friendly and competent. The hotel has excellent transport options. However, you’re 100% dependent on the restaurant all day; a rotating menu or daily specials would be needed. The property isn’t wheelchair‑friendly; the steps can be easily missed. The staff should not bury plastic waste from the sea when cleaning the beach daily.
