“Gut und preiswert.”
The location is excellent, surrounded by a neighborhood full of small shops, cafés and restaurants, and the metro is close by; the breakfast is adequate for the price, and it’s nice to find a few places in Bangkok still offering a European breakfast. The staff at La Locanda are very friendly and helpful, but my room was quite small, the air‑conditioner blew cold air straight onto the bed, and my key card didn’t work on the hotel entrance door, which caused a problem later that evening; fortunately another guest could open the door with his card.
