The rustic nature and the excellent, caring service from the owner and staff made our stay at Cosy Stone Cottages unforgettable. Mr Fida Hussain was one of the nicest people I’ve met on all my stays, and his mission to serve guests with utmost care and continuously improve the property’s quality and traditional look was evident. The value for money was great, and the food quality was superb, especially the traditional Hunza dishes.

The place is quiet and strategically located. Fida is a good guy, friendly, helpful, hospitable, and speaks good English. After the hike to Rakaposhi Base Camp, I slept like a baby. The only downside was the blackouts, but that’s life in this region.

The hosts were friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, the dinner was amazing, and the value for money was even better. It’s a no-brainer for anyone hiking to Rakaposhi Base Camp.

The owners are fantastic, the room is nice, the food is incredible, and the location is perfect for the Rakaposhi hike since the trail starts just outside the guesthouse.
