“Hotel has very good and impressed for thier warm hospitality”
The hotel and its staff were extremely humble, prompt, supportive and cooperative, and the location was good; I stayed for 10 days and enjoyed a breakfast menu with many options and delicious taste, while the rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained.
Check‑in was quick and I think I was upgraded even though the receptionist said I had booked that room—though I'm not sure, thanks anyway! This is my favorite layover hotel in Jeddah when catching an international flight in the morning. I dialed “0” for room service, but instead of transferring me they asked what they could help me with; I ordered a club sandwich and they said it would be coming right up, yet after an hour there was still no sandwich, so I called again. It felt like I was placing the order for the first time. The sandwich finally arrived in 15 minutes and I was lectured on dialing “0” for room service and “1” for anything else. Then at 10:30 pm I received a call asking if I had called for something. They need to improve their room‑service system. Also, the rooms are very cold; even after turning off the air conditioning the temperature barely rose above 20 °C, presumably because the AC is blasting in every room.
The location was good, but this was my first time staying there and unfortunately the humidity and the smell of the carpets and bedding in the hallways and rooms were strong, and the mattresses seemed unusually soft and caused back or neck problems—impossible to sleep on them.
