Landhaus Heide

The hosts were very nice, the pension and rooms were well decorated for those who like a lot of décor, breakfast was adequate, parking was in front of the building, and every room had a balcony, though at full capacity it was shared with two other rooms. We would have preferred fresh rolls from a bakery for breakfast instead of five‑day‑old ones, especially since the hosts arrive by car every morning.

We were welcomed with coffee and homemade cake, and given a booklet full of hiking routes in the heath as well as useful suggestions for sights and restaurants. The apartment was snugly furnished and tastefully decorated, and the kitchenette was fully stocked for self‑catering, making it ideal for longer stays. The location was great, within walking distance of the city centre with shops, the Heidegarten and the Osterheide for walks and hikes. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back!
