We have stayed here before and found it very clean and tidy. Nothing to complain about.

The place was neat and tidy, and the owner communicated well. The location offered beautiful views and easy access to coastal walks, making it a good base for Filey and Scarborough. My only critique was that the cooking utensils were flimsy; I worried they might break and they had already been damaged by a previous guest.

“Expensive at £120 a night for basic facilities.”

The shower was good and the bedding was clean. The hotel sits in the middle of Haven Park but isn’t too close. The property smelled damp; we complained after checking out but no partial refund was offered. The owners have CCTV on the premises and also record audio of private conversations, so be aware. A security worker from Haven almost ran into our car by driving through the caravan lot late at night and hit the next caravan—luckily it wasn’t our new car. I was told we should have used the fabreze and air freshener that was provided; the place just seemed poorly aired and smelled musky. We opened the windows to try to ventilate it, but we left a day early. I wish I’d complained on the first night, but we gave it a chance. The owner didn’t acknowledge our complaint, which is their choice. The toiletries were a nice touch and the shower was lovely, which helped offset the stay. The caravan was standard size but dated, suitable for a few nights.
