“Pieniny sú krásne.”

Ms. Janka was very, very kind, attentive, and helpful. The accommodation is on the edge of the village Lesnica, but we were looking for a quiet, peaceful environment for our stay, and that was exactly what we found here. We chose this time of year because of the heat, so many people like us were also looking for mountains and water; there were actually a lot of tourists.

Perched on a hill, you drive up winding roads and are rewarded with stunning views; the property is very clean and, in my opinion, truly high‑quality. I suggest renting the whole cottage or a single room for more privacy. The downside is that the single‑room window sits just half a metre from the tables and grill, so if a large group decides to party right next to the building you’ll have a noisy night.

I was traveling solo and just wanted an affordable spot right in the middle of the Pieniny Mountains, so I landed here and hit the jackpot. The spot is perfect for getting around the Pieniny area and serves as a solid base for hikes and day trips, and I’d happily bring my family or a bigger crew next time. The value for money is spot on, especially since I booked a small single room at a great price. Everything was flawless while I was the only one in my room, but on the last night, guests moved into the room above me and I could hear every footstep and even conversations clearly; luckily they were quiet neighbors, so it wasn’t a huge issue.
