Willa Arnika

The location was practically next to the trail—perfect. The room and dining area offered a beautiful view of the mountains. The room received a 5/10 for appearance and 7/10 for cleanliness; some items were not wiped down, and there was no soap holder. Breakfast was served on site and was somewhat varied. The owner kept a close eye on the hot scrambled eggs, making sure nothing was missing. Unfortunately, parking was paid, and we also had to pay an extra day for leaving the car a few hours after check‑out.

Arnika is truly worth recommending. The location is excellent—direct access to the trail—and the staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and varied. We’ll definitely come back.

Only the trail to the snowshoe trail was close; everywhere else was far, and the parking was paid even though the site advertised it as free. The owner says she can’t change that, but the information is outdated. For that, 10 points. The parking was still paid despite the free‑parking claim. The distance to the center was said to be 2 km on foot, but GPS shows 4.5 km; the nearest shop is 1.5 km on foot and 2.5 km by car.
