The camp itself was excellent, right across from the erg Chigaga, with spacious tents and private bathrooms, hot water from a wood‑burning boiler, attentive staff, and great food—different dishes each day for two nights, and evenings filled with singing and music beneath the dune. However, the wifi advertised on Booking was only available the first day because it was tied to the owner’s presence; when he was absent, the wifi failed—likely because it’s linked to his phone—so we had no connection the entire second day and on the morning of the third, right when we wanted news about the Middle East war.
