The hotel was very nice, the rooms were clean and bright, but it was not as new as other hotels at the same level. Big discounts were offered for the spa and pool, yet the place clearly needs renovation: the whirlpool had been dry for a long time, the sauna was off, the showers were outdated and the shower heads were limescale‑covered. The staff, however, were a real highlight. During my stay there was a swimming class, but the wellness or spa feeling was missing and swimming was almost impossible.

“Generally OK, but not great. I expected more for the price.”

The room was well appointed but offered little seating or tables, and there was no desk. The bathroom was good. The hotel gym had many machines, though some were worn and malfunctioned. The Wi‑Fi was slow and often unreliable, and the room cleaning was not thorough. The location was acceptable but not outstanding.

“Schönes Hotel”

It’s generally a nice hotel with good design and tasteful décor. It’s a bit remote but still close to the subway. The pool and gym seem to be run by third parties, which is noticeable. We complained about the odor in our room and the manager, Herr …, worked hard to find us a different room, which was very nice! Unfortunately, the smoking ban isn’t enforced everywhere, so a conference room had smokers. English is rarely spoken, but a translation tool helps. And why there are no glasses for juice at breakfast, only coffee cups—no idea…
