The place sits in a convenient spot and has all the basics you’d expect, plus a smooth self‑check‑in. However, the shower has full‑length windows with curtains that are moldy because water gets on them, and the whole area feels a bit sketchy and primitive. Cleaning was lacking. The front desk called us an hour before check‑out to remind us to leave, which came off as rude and as if they didn’t trust we’d check out on our own, making us feel unwelcome and like they just wanted us gone quickly.

The spot is great, right next to Ximen night market, and the room itself was just okay—clean but a bit rough around the edges. The beds were good, staff were friendly, and the late‑night kiosk was quick and easy. Evenings were quiet; we could hear neighbors but not loudly. The mini fridge and views were nice, and the egg shuffle shop by the entrance served delicious treats. The AC is loud, as noted in earlier reviews, and can be a problem if you can’t sleep with noise. A few bugs were present.
