We stayed for one night with two couples of friends. The place has great potential, tucked away in an orange grove in the quiet of Basilicata. Unfortunately, that’s where it stops. The rooms don’t match the photos on the website – they’re average and a bit neglected. The worst part was the restaurant service. Because of a poorly handled overbooking, we were forced onto a fixed menu dictated by an event happening in the dining room, with no choice at all. The meal was low quality and short in portion (half-sized servings), leaving us hungry and disappointed. The service from a lady who seemed unprepared for the mishap was also rude. In a disaster like that, we expected at least a bill that reflected the inconvenience. The same issues came up at breakfast, with general complaints. It’s a shame, because the property could really offer a pleasant experience if managed better.

The welcome was warm, the location was wonderfully quiet, and the accommodation was very spacious and well kept. The owners and their son were helpful at all times and served an excellent evening meal. All great!

The owner is extremely kind, very helpful, and builds a great rapport with guests, making the stay special and authentic. The location is beautiful, worth exploring nearby, and the staff focus on relaxation and customer care. Highly recommended – thanks for a super experience!
