The breakfast surprised me with biscuits and gravy, and the muffins and pastries were a nice touch; the staff were helpful. However, the dryer in the laundry didn’t finish in a reasonable time—over an hour and still damp, so I had to call maintenance because the food‑release button was stuck. The ice machine on the second floor never produced ice.

The room was spotless and comfortable, but if I weren’t handicapped I’d have rated it higher. We skipped on‑site breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The handicap room was close to the handicap parking, but the access from there was too narrow; I had to pass the entry door and turn around to open it, and I couldn’t get in alone. The handicap shower was unusable on my own—seated, I couldn’t reach the knobs to turn the water on or off, nor adjust the temperature; at 5’7” I wasn’t short, but the hose was too short to reach my back. Also, I booked a King bed but received two Queens.

Breakfast was decent and the staff running the breakfast room were pleasant. The lack of an elevator was a drawback, and the front‑desk staff weren’t very friendly. I told someone at the desk about a broken shade on one of the lamps, but it was never fixed.

The rooms were clean, not too small, and the pool was great and not crowded. Breakfast was typical of a hotel continental spread. The only downside was that there’s no elevator; the hotel has just two floors, so it’s a minor inconvenience if you have a lot of stuff and need to go to the second floor.

The bedding was nice—a thin quilt, but heavy enough to feel cozy. As soon as I walked into the room, a wet dog/smoke smell hit me; after sitting there a while my throat felt scratchy. You do get used to the odor, but stepping out and back in it’s awful. One of my “clean” towels had a hair on it. Everything felt very dated, with visible dirt on the walls, so the room wasn’t clean. The shower looked old, and I didn’t even want to shower because I wouldn’t feel clean afterward. I appreciate the dog accommodations, yet there was a dead bird in the grass area. Breakfast was lacking; when I walked in at 8 am I didn’t see where anything was and the selection was minimal.
