“Good location”

The room is very comfortable. The kitchen area is small and only has a kettle, so it’s not usable otherwise. The location is good because there aren’t many options in the old part of Montevideo, and it’s close to some excellent restaurants. It’s certainly not a “design” hotel by European standards, the reception and breakfast area feel soulless, the staff are miserable, and there are only two teabags for the entire 5‑day stay, so bring your own if you want to use that kettle.

The room, the windows, the river, and the cats on the neighboring terraces. The breakfast is not included.

The large balcony with river view. The room didn’t match the photos posted; it was very cramped. The kitchen only had a mini‑fridge, an electric jug, and two glasses. Hot water takes a long time to come out, the shower is weak and a bit uncomfortable. I would only return to this room on a summer night when the balcony could be enjoyed.
