The place was honest and typically Czech, run down with a very Eastern European vibe, an authentic slice of living history that I loved while my missus didn’t. The hostess was lovely, didn’t speak English but we managed with good humour and Google Translate. The town is amazing, you must try the cakes at the coffee shop in the square – they’re out of this world! I had to call to confirm my arrival, it took effort because of the language barrier and I wasn’t sure anyone would show up – glad they did, it was an experience in itself.

The pension is in a convenient spot near the train and bus stations, has a well‑equipped kitchenette, and a large TV.
“Spokojenost. Rád se vrátím znovu.”
I was satisfied overall. The price matched the quality, and I’d gladly return.
The location is good and central, check‑in was easy. No card payment accepted.
Staying in the city center was convenient, everything was easily reachable. The beds were a bit less comfortable, and there was a noticeable amount of traffic noise for a downtown location.
