Hotel Schloss Eckberg

This hotel in Dresden feels truly special, with a lovely and stylish atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Parking on the property is excellent, and the tram line 11 runs every ten minutes to the Old Town, which is perfect for a relaxed city break. The vibe in the Kavaliershaus where we stayed was uniquely charming, even though the rooms and bathroom aren’t exactly roomy. If you don’t want to breakfast in the castle, you can grab free coffee in the Kavaliershaus between 5 am and 9 pm and enjoy it in a cozy setting. Still, I’d recommend trying the castle’s breakfast at least once for an excellent service and wonderful spread that gives a bit of a “The Crown” feeling. I can’t think of any real complaints.

Location, ambience, staff, and facilities are all superb, but you can’t blame them for the tiring walk into town (a castle is naturally on a hill – you know that beforehand 🤷‍♀️).

“Schoon en mooi hotel”

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean, but the Wi‑Fi was terribly bad.

“Der Aufenthalt im Schloss Eckberg war gut , aber teuer !”

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good, but €28 is very expensive; we found better, more affordable breakfasts in Dresden.
