Ulla sits right in the heart of Arugam Bay, within walking distance of all the surf spots and eateries. Our host Inamul was incredibly friendly, always ready to sort out anything we wanted at a great price, just like usual, and his humor is a rare find. The breakfast served by the staff was fantastic, changing daily so it never got boring—fresh fruit every morning, tea or coffee, and sometimes a sweet option like crepes or a savory one like shakshouka. There’s really nothing to complain about on that front.
