Exactly as on the pictures and top location. Unfortunately a bit loud because of the restaurants and bars around. Fortunately, earplugs are available on site.

“Lovely apartment but a bit noisy”

The apartment itself was lovely, and the owner was very helpful when we asked if we could check in a little earlier. The bed was comfy, and it was a cool retreat in the heat of the day. Plenty of space to sit inside or outside, and the kitchen was sensibly stocked with all basics plus a few welcome extras like water and teabags. The location for exploring Lecce is excellent—right within the old town, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The street noise made sleeping difficult: a bar on the corner held a party on the first night that went on until the early hours. The second night was quieter, but the street is a thoroughfare, so passers‑by can still be heard, and this can continue very late. Earplugs are provided by the owner, so this can be mitigated, but if you’re a light sleeper, it’s something to be aware of.
