We had a decent breakfast, the hotel sits in a good location, and the parking is secure. The bathroom was filthy: it smelled, had black and brown stains on the tiles and shower sealant, the toilet brush was stained, the toilet seat was loose, the toilet roll holder was loose, and other parts of the bathroom were dusty and dirty. We didn’t ask for a room change because the check‑in staff said the hotel was full, yet the booking platform later showed rooms available. There was constant banging at night, likely plumbing, and someone else mentioned it at breakfast, saying they couldn’t sleep. The restaurant and rooftop bar were closed during our stay; we were later told they open seasonally, so why not list that in the booking info? The hotel could be lovely, it’s in a great spot and has potential, but it also feels tired in places. The management seemed unconcerned when we raised issues, saying “We are truly sorry that, during a stay of just a single night, you feel you encountered such a multitude of errors.” Charming.
