I booked at the last minute but the reception was great. The room was large and comfortable, and the location at the end (or start) of the Großglocknerstraße by the Salzach river was beautiful. We ate well and enjoyed a good breakfast. I did get better beds elsewhere; the mattress felt the bed base through, but I still slept reasonably well.

The waiters were very friendly and attentive, and you’re right in the middle of the village! The parking is good, and the food at the on‑site restaurant was excellent 😀. The whole hotel feels very dark, especially the rooms with the dark wooden ceiling. There were no towel hooks in the bathroom, no separation from the balcony, breakfast was monotonous with few fresh items, and the mattresses were far too soft!
