Sayyod Yurt Camp - Uzbek Yurt Experience

I had a wonderful stay at Yurt Camp! The food and breakfast were delicious, and spending the evening around the campfire was such a lovely experience. The beautiful nature and adorable animals made it even more special. Bingo the dog and the two cats were so sweet! If you visit, don't forget to feed the hungry cats and give the goats some fresh grass! 🐐🐱🐈‍⬛ A special thank you to Dilmurad, our driver, for being so thoughtful and helpful throughout the journey. He offered me apples along the way and patiently waited with me at the bank while I exchanged money. His kindness and thoughtfulness made the journey even more enjoyable. Visiting the ancient tree, Aydarkul Lake and Nurata Fortress was unforgettable. I stayed only one night but left with beautiful memories. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

The yurt camp is in the mountains. Almost the whole way to the camp is a new paved road, only the last 100 meters have good gravel. The place is quiet. The area is large, green and cozy. Hammocks hang between the trees. A stunning outdoor pool with a mountain view. Every table at breakfast has a small buffet: eggs, samosas, cauliflower in batter, pancakes, nuts, pastries, vegetables, cheese – a lot and tasty. In the evening you can ask to light a fire, there’s a special area for that. The reception has Wi‑Fi – I managed to video‑call for work. For entertainment there are a bow, bicycles, a telescope, table tennis. Wi‑Fi doesn’t work in the yurts – that might even be good, you can have a digital detox. The doors in the yurts don’t lock with a lock or a latch. There’s no air conditioning in the yurts – but in late August it wasn’t a problem, it wasn’t hot.

“Ottimo”

I stayed in a Yurta, and the dinner was excellent, especially the dessert. Free activities like archery and stargazing were available, and the surrounding nature was beautiful.

“Great and calming place to relax or do some nature-adjacent activities in the mountain.”

The team is great, very friendly and helpful, great food and free activities. The spot is awesome surrounded by mountains and with a lot of fruit and nut trees and cozy places to relax. They helped with organizing a driver to Koytash, from where we hiked to the camp in about 7-8h, and also organized a driver to take us to Buchara on short notice. The Jurts are very spacious and have electricity and lights, but no dedicated storage space. The pool was very nice but also very cold, great when it’s hot but for us in October a bit too cold for an extended swim haha. The Jurts do not isolate against noises, but it was very calm and quiet

The atmosphere is very nice. The staff are attentive. They charge 10 dollars for food, which only includes soup and a few hot dishes, 4 mantı were given, it was insufficient and we went hungry. Breakfast was also very weak. There was no cheese or olives.
