Excellent location near TRA station and Gancheng bus stop to SunMoonLake, staff very friendly, the common area on floor 9 is fine (though the aircon isn’t always on), but there’s no fridge in the room, check‑in is strict at 16:00, and reception isn’t 24 hrs.
We headed to Shanlinxi the next day, and the station was only a one‑minute walk away, so we chose this place; nearby is a modest street called Pingmin Street, and we found a good Taiwanese local food shop, Delie Noodle House. When we first checked in, the elevator had no clear signs, and we only knew the hotel was on floors four to nine. We waited on the fourth floor for half an hour, seeing a notice near an exit that the staff were temporarily out, and only when a cleaner appeared did we realize the reception was on the ninth floor. The shower was in the same room as the toilet, and after washing the whole bathroom floor got wet, which isn’t great, but the ventilation was decent enough that it dried in about an hour. The fresh‑air vent kept making a rattling sound all night, which made sleeping difficult.

I’m almost next to the bus station for my onward trip to SML, and it’s just a 10‑minute walk from the main station.

It was a perfect stay in Taichung. The accommodation matched the photos and description, was clean and cozy, and the communication was smooth. We’d book it again anytime. Thanks for the hospitality.
