We were heading back from Strasbourg, wanted to see Freiburg im Breisgau, so we picked Klostermühle B&B for its closeness to the Black Forest. The house was gorgeous, the room spacious and spotless, breakfast was superb, and Michael, the owner, was very helpful and welcoming. I’d give it five stars.

My husband and I stayed in the apartment next door, a cute spot while exploring the Black Forest. Michael, the host, greeted us at check‑in and gave us a tour. Every morning he set up a hearty breakfast that was fantastic. Several restaurants and a local grocery store are nearby. The apartment suited us perfectly, though it might not be the most accessible for others because there are two flights of stairs. We’d love to return next time we’re in the area!

Herr Müller does an excellent job as host. The eggs at breakfast were great, and he told good stories. The location is also very good. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Everything was fine.
