The area is very nice with many stores nearby for convenience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The picnic/courtyard area is very large. It’s just a few minutes drive from downtown or grocery stores. Breakfast was not desirable, though the waffles were good. The bedrooms lacked proper storage for clothes—only a small coat rack. The fridge was off‑putting but still functional.

“We felt scammed into renting a room at this fleabag”

I didn’t see any bedbugs and the front‑desk employee was friendly. This place was a distressed property and I felt misled by the listing. The room reeked of industrial cleaner so much that it was hard to stay in it. We were on the ground floor and the room was dirty, with visible stains and crumbs on the furniture and in the bathroom. Multiple men were milling around aimlessly, smoking or parked in their trucks outside the room. It didn’t feel very “family friendly”. The stairs were all rotted and broken. It might be acceptable if it were super cheap, but it wasn’t. We left and found a nearby place for the same amount of money and it was worlds better.
