We stayed with Jean, Michel and Julie and it was fantastic: the welcome was warm, the rooms were comfy and offered a stunning view of the Greater Caucasus and the Alazani valley. The garden, full of vegetables, flowers and a few fruit trees, was beautiful. Jean‑Michel’s breakfast was superb, with flavored yogurt muesli, excellent poached eggs, homemade bread and a selection of house‑made jams – a lovely way to start the day.

“Geweldig, aanrader!”

The meal was fantastic and cozy, all cooked with vegetables and herbs from the garden, and we felt truly pampered and enjoyed every bite. Everything else was great too—our room and the location relative to the city center were perfect.

“Wonderful homestay in Telavi”

This stay was truly special, thanks to the warm hospitality of Jean Michel and Julie who made us feel very welcome and served the most delicious breakfast, prepared daily with garden produce by Jean Michel. The spot is within a short walk to the main street, and the rear views of the mountains are breathtaking.

“Home Stay Not Guesthouse.”

The bed and Wi‑Fi were good, and the host was friendly. However, the place is a home stay where you rent a room in the host’s house, which was not mentioned beforehand. The bathroom had a strong sewer odor, the toiletries were very basic, and the house was a smoker so the balcony carried smoke. There was no kettle or A/C in the room, and we only stayed one night. Parking was on the street with no private spot.
