Nothing. We arrived with scaffolding around the building, walked in and smelt tobacco, asked about an evening meal, no meal being cooked that day, but was advertised when we made the booking there would be one, so we decided not to stay and didn't get our money back. Excuse new management and refurbishment

Fabulous building, lovely room and appreciated the complimentary breakfast items. Bed was very creaky and lumpy

Really friendly staff, good bar. Kitchen was closed (but I think I was aware of that when booking) so we were able to get a take-out delivered. The windows in our room were old & needed a little TLC - we have to wedge a bin under one of them to hold it open through the hot night
