We’ve stayed at many top hotels worldwide, but Ololo tops them all. It’s stunningly beautiful and impeccably managed. We booked the Terrace Suite, and the nightly fireplace lighting added a magical touch. Food and service were A+, and the owner is a charismatic figure who runs a beautifully appointed lodge while actively supporting the community. A special shout‑out to George for driving us to Amboseli! The only downside was that it was time to leave.

The hotel is gorgeous!! You’re completely surrounded by nature, the food is delicious, and the staff are incredible – especially Lein, who was the best guide and made our stay magical!!! Only two points: the shower head was very weak and the temperature control was terrible, sometimes boiling or freezing. The customer service via WhatsApp before arrival was also very poor; they took days to respond even after reminders, and sometimes the replies came without a greeting. The in‑hotel customer service, however, changed completely and was excellent.

The staff are wonderful. The food is amazing. Beautiful location and grounds. The only downside was the lack of sun loungers by the pool; there were only four large chairs that weren’t very comfortable, and the bar didn’t offer any diet drinks.

Game drives with Washington were excellent. The pickups and drop‑offs, including the elephant orphanage and Kitingella glass, were brilliant. Food was 11 out of 10!
