The station near the hotel (Shinjuku) takes you easily to anywhere. The room was clean, the bed was okay, the pillows were fine. The bathroom was good, it could even be smaller compared with the rest of the room.
The room was very small and poorly divided. The bathroom was huge and the useful space in the room was tiny. I took the Japanese room and it was basically a mattress on the floor, not exactly what I expected. The bed was king size, but clearly the room could not accommodate such a bed, leaving us totally without space for anything. The table we could use for eating barely fit in the space left by the bed and the rest was a mini corridor, making it a struggle to open the luggage. The laundry was impossible to use, only four washers and two were broken. There was no water filter on the floors, we had to go down to B1 to refill and sometimes there was a huge queue (the hotel has more than 13 floors). Breakfast was not bad, but it was the same every day, so for long stays I do not recommend it. In addition, we had a communication problem about the accommodation; the team answered a piece of information via booking and when we arrived it was something else. The reception person was not very open to help. Besides, the location of the hotel, although good for getting out to other parts of the city, was not very friendly. The place was dirty, we saw rats and cockroaches on the street. And there were several escort houses around, drunk people every day, honestly I do not recommend it, especially if you are staying with children.
