“Cumple y es Barato, un poco lejos de Friburgo”

It isn’t expensive for what it is in Freiburg; the hotel is decent and does its job. It looks old and still works, but I’d suggest renovating because it smells like age (that little odor). Parking is very tight—there are just enough spots, and it’s impossible to park in the neighborhood unless you find a space, which can be a real issue. It’s far from the city, almost like a nearby village, so you need a car to get there.

Outside, fairly quiet, a cozy room with comfortable beds. It feels “old-fashioned” but charming. Parking is small, and check‑in ends at 22:15.

Our room was on the roof and spacious, with a clean surrounding. It would have been nice to have a water heater and tea/coffee in the room. The center isn’t reachable on foot, but there’s a bus stop right in front. The lack of a water heater is a drawback.

The carpet was extremely stained; everything else is already quite old and clearly needs renovation.

“A great stay, with a few cracks in the quiet & darkness”

The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, and the free parking right in front of the hotel was exactly what we needed while travelling by car. Our room was very comfortable, and the extra sofa bed was a real bonus that made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was up to standard, with the staff taking great care of their guests. There was a small misunderstanding regarding a baby bed with an unexpected payment, but the staff immediately sorted it out and did not charge us for it, even though they had already prepared everything. Great service overall! However, rooms—at least room 105—have no proper blackout curtains, which made daytime naps difficult for our nine‑month‑old baby, and hammering from renovation work at around 8:30 a.m. woke him up. Great hospitality, but a little more peace and darkness would go a long way ;-)
