The Rendell Shea Manor

The manor was beautiful and the staff were generally easy to get in touch with when needed. We received a free room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise. Overall, great value. Communication could be a bit better; this was not an issue for me but other guests had trouble contacting the hosts or individuals in charge of the manor when needing help.

“Semaine paisible dans un manoir charmant”

A charming manor with a lot of character! Our room (Signal Hill) was large, clean, and we lacked nothing. Chelsea was very helpful and responded quickly. We were told that lunch was not offered in October (we already knew that when we went), but we received homemade scones, banana bread, and everything needed for tea/coffee every morning! Our only critique is that it was a bit cold in the manor, probably because we were the only occupants for a few days (so the other rooms were not really heated).

A lovely old house in a convenient area. Very welcoming staff. Comfortable room. Nothing to list.

I was thrilled from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The spot is conveniently close to downtown, yet it stays quiet enough to relax in a tidy, cozy room that had every amenity I could think of. The staff at the manor were friendly and quick to help whenever I needed something. The breakfast offered everything I wanted to kick off the day, and I’d gladly recommend this place to anyone and plan to return soon.

“great”

The location was fantastic. We loved the French presses and the whole bean coffee. The only downside was the stairs, which is expected in a house built in 1846.
