The location was great and the food at the restaurant was tasty, but there was no cover cloth in the bedroom.

Stadium Hotel is a better than basic option for a one‑night stay in Kumasi when you have to travel the next day, but the price is higher than expected for the situation, and a meal costing 100 Cedis is disappointing. I didn’t answer the question about the location because it depends on where you need to be in Kumasi. My issue was that there isn’t a basic hotel between the bus stop from Tamale (Central Market) and Accra Station. In the future I might skip Kumasi altogether as a stop‑over on my way to Accra because of all the hassle and costs in that big city, and I’m looking at options like Sunyani and Bechem.

However, after some persistence, I was eventually allowed to check in, and things improved significantly from there.
