The property was lovely. We had food at the cafe and asked to charge it to our room, but the front desk staff chased us out of the hotel after we left because they hadn’t charged it. I felt like a criminal and it was extremely embarrassing.

The room was simply amazing and deserved a 10; the bed and bathroom were superb and the space was huge. Breakfast was quick and great, and the building itself is top‑class – a real treat to stay there. The only issue was that the air conditioning wouldn’t go below 21 °C, which is odd for a 5‑star hotel; we prefer cooler rooms. Opening the window was not an option because of street noise on the backside and there were no screens. That was the only negative for us.
