“Bien mais très bruyant”
The spot is spot-on and the beds feel just right, but we ended up right across from the laundry machines, so the whole night was noisy and the hallway sounds were hard to ignore.

The place is in a great spot, the room is comfy, and the Japanese bath is superb. Everything else was fine.

The hotel sits right in the heart of Nara, close to the park, and the entrance goes through a lively covered shopping arcade. You can leave your luggage before check‑in and take it back out in the morning, which is very handy. There’s an on‑site restaurant that we didn’t try and it’s a bit pricey. The public bath requires you to go naked in a yukata that’s provided, but we didn’t test it. The room is in a Japanese style with enough space for three people: futons, tatami, a small table, and floor seating. It’s a fun experience if you like that vibe. The elevator and laundry on the upper floor work well, and the air‑conditioning is good. The futons are a bit stiff, there’s some noise in the evening because the building sits in a busy covered passage, there’s no outlet in the bathroom, and using the hair dryer is a bit tricky.

The atmosphere was great, the station was close and the shop street let us enjoy the town. We stayed two people and the room felt very cozy. Nothing to complain about, except that if you’re looking for scenic views, the shopping street doesn’t really deliver.

I liked everything! The staff were welcoming, caring, available and friendly. The location is strategically perfect, and I recommend staying here because several interesting activities are concentrated on the same street. The onsen at the property let us have that Japanese experience even with our tattoos. Inside, there’s also a laundry with a washing machine and dryer! A great recommendation. The only picky detail was a metal wall outside our window, but it didn’t dampen our pleasant stay at all.
