The breakfast spread was fantastic; biscuits and gravy were my favorite, and they offered a solid selection of coffee along with hot and cold drinks. Nothing else went wrong.

The room and breakfast were adequate, but the motel’s description mentioned a hot tub. The front desk staff said the hot tub was at their sister hotel “down the hill,” but she refused to give us the exact address and seemed to expect us to know where it was. We discovered that the sister hotel was actually several blocks away, and after a long drive from out of state, we were disappointed by both the misinformation and the staff’s attitude.

The staff were extremely helpful with any request, and the hotel sits right next to a major hospital, so many guests were there for that reason. Our room even had a recliner that made it easier for my daughter to get out of the hospital.

The breakfast was excellent, the location was close to downtown and the hospital, the staff were clean and friendly, and the price was a great deal—plus the place is dog‑friendly. Everything else was fine.
