The hotel sits close to the airport, has just been renovated so looks clean and pretty, and is much cheaper than other hotels in the same price range.

Everything was great: check‑in was quick, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and it takes only 10 minutes to get to the airport.

The reception area and dining room were very plush, yet the first bedroom felt very dated and dirty; the bedding smelled of cigarettes, the plug sockets had dirt on the tops, and the telephone was grubby. When I asked for a room change, the reception was very reluctant and I had to be firm. At least the bedding in the second room didn’t smell of cigarettes, but the previous guest’s soap was left in the shower and there were cobwebs above the bathroom mirror. The lady at the restaurant was very sullen when we asked for bread, coffee, and tea; when she finally gave us bread, the only spread available was margarine.
