Andrie, the superlieve host, made our stay enjoyable, even though I had higher expectations. I had imagined Darling to be more lively and safer, as described on Google, and we were warned not to walk back to the guesthouse after dinner. Unfortunately Uber or other taxis aren't available in Darling, but Andrie offered to drive us to and from the hotel for a small fee.

The garden provides a great spot for morning coffee, and we also enjoyed the Jacuzzi. The kitchen had only a few utensils, and the bathroom lacked an air freshener.
