The Eix Alcudia Hotel Adults Only is a 4-floor, traditional Mallorcan-style building surrounding an outdoor swimming pool and patio, shaded by palm trees. Heated, air-conditioned rooms feature work desks and satellite TVs. Located 150 meters from Puerto de Alcúdia beach, it's near the Medieval town of Alcudia (less than 1 km away). Double rooms offer private terraces, some with pool views, and en-suite amenities.

The staff were attentive and professional, the place stayed clean, and the location was excellent. They even had a dedicated bike‑storage area that you could lock your bike in, and the restaurant offered a fair selection of dishes. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi connection was unstable, and the blinds didn’t block the exterior lighting that illuminated the hotel’s façade, so light seeped into the apartment all night and ruined my sleep. The worst problem was the bed quality: the mattresses were so thin that I could feel the frame pressing against my back, making a comfortable night’s sleep nearly impossible. These are basic expectations for any accommodation, and their failure to meet them shows a serious lack of attention to guest comfort. Overall, it was a deeply disappointing experience.

Two rooms on the third floor were okay, but the two rooms on the first floor were a different story—especially one that was really small and either had no view or was so overlooked that it seemed unlikely anyone would ever open the curtains. Wi‑Fi at the ends of the corridor on the third floor was a bit flaky. Breakfast was expansive and covered just about everything you could need. The bar was fine but a bit soulless; the hotel tried a disco one night and a singer another, but it didn’t attract much attention and the crowd never really wanted to do their thing. Reception staff were very, very good and genuinely helpful. On the first floor, one room was “subterranean” and the other practically had loungers by the pool on the balcony.

The pool area was great with shade options, the hotel bar was excellent, and the dinners and breakfasts were delicious.
