Maricela greeted us with a warm welcome even though we didn’t speak Spanish, and she whipped up a tasty breakfast each morning. She also put us in touch with her brother Elvis, who set us up with some awesome Amazon tours. After a scorching day, the pool was a perfect way to cool off, and the whole place was spotless. I’d love to come back sometime.

Maricela’s welcome was genuinely friendly and she was always available to help. The spot is quiet, close to the airport, and you can reach downtown easily on foot or by moto‑taxi. Nothing else to complain about.
