They claimed to have checked the bed and changed the sheets, but the mattress absorbed the urine. I left with two pairs of clothes soaked in some random animal urine.

Our room was dirty and smelled bad. There were roach signs—brown spots on walls and corners, shell casings, and dead bugs. It looked like people were living there permanently. Marijuana odor was everywhere, and the whole facility seemed shady at best.

Breakfast was tasty, and the spot was ideal. The only issue was the entrance to the handicap room, which had a step up that made wheelchair access tough, and the bathroom lacked a grab bar to help rise from the toilet.
