The tents were well maintained and new, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, always responding quickly and courteously whenever we needed assistance, but some aspects left us a bit perplexed: inside the tent it was quite cold, and we were given a fuel stove that, while functional and modern, produced a strong unpleasant odor that was especially bothersome in the confined tent space; it was stated to be non‑toxic, yet sleeping with that smell was not enjoyable, and it didn’t seem to warm the room much. We thought two simple electric heaters would have made the stay much more comfortable. Regarding the gas, we had trouble because the cylinder wasn’t activated, and since we had never used this system we didn’t know how to proceed, so we had to call the staff who arrived quickly and helped us with great willingness. It would have been helpful to have everything ready for us upon arrival, perhaps with more instructions. Finally, the safari tents are right next to the small animal area; this was the most striking thing for us: we saw several animals kept in spaces that seemed very small and appeared quite stressed. I understand it may be a characteristic feature and a selling point for the property, but personally we did not experience it positively.

The hotel is great for families with kids, from the indoor playground to the pool. However, the pool area was untidy, with dirty loungers, chairs and tables.

Nice place. We were charged 40 kr extra for the shower, and when we arrived we were told the water was included in our stay. We had booked a Camp let, so the service was really bad and the lady was rude, not even saying goodbye properly.

Breakfast was really good 👍 The layout was poorly arranged and a bit chaotic, but the food itself was fine.
