The location, the building, and the reception staff were good. The room cleaning was poor. The rooms were old with worn sheets and furniture. Even the breakfast plates were dirty. The breakfast was more oriented to Arabic tastes than international. The quality and variety of food and drinks were not what you expect from a 4‑star hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, the building is nice, the reception hall and corridors are pleasant. The staff are friendly, thanks to Ms. Mira for helping with the transfer. Next to the hotel is a good, large store, and KFC and Pizza Hut are not far away where you can eat safely. The hotel does not deserve 4 stars; in Europe it would get 2 stars. The room is ugly, the furniture is old, the beds are uncomfortable, the bathroom door is damaged, the walls are dirty. The breakfasts are poor, the cheeses are dried out, the cold cuts looked low quality, the hot sausages were bad, and the other Egyptian dishes were not enticing, but you can survive, plus the fruit and sweet snacks. On the roof there is a loud restaurant for people outside. Street noise – our room had a LED screen outside the hotel café – it was loud, close to the mosque.

The hotel in Alexandria was a delight, with friendly staff and plenty of amenities, a huge room that was spotless, and overall a wonderful experience.
