The place isn’t hard to find, but the GPS can be confusing; the car got a few extra scratches from driving up rocky lanes, and the barking dogs kept me and my dog Oscar awake all night. The room was basic with no air‑conditioning, breakfast was very simple but the coffee was good. I booked here because of rave food reviews, only to discover after a non‑refundable reservation that the restaurant had shut down in early October, so I can’t see why I should stay in season.
