Honestly, there wasn’t much to do there and most of the amenities listed on the board just weren’t there when we asked. To make matters worse, the pool was a mess – full of leaves and clearly not being cleaned regularly.

This little hideaway feels like a tropical oasis, perched over the sea with a chill Mayan vibe, a thatched‑roof bar and even a complimentary bike, plus breakfast that hit the spot. The only downsides were its proximity to a cemetery and a hospital, which could be a bit unsettling at night.
