I spent both last year and this year here, and each time the rooms stayed nice and well maintained. Nothing negative to mention.

“I'd return another time to decompress and relax!”

The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and cozy, though it sat a bit farther from downtown Julian than we expected. The restaurant across the street was fantastic, complete with a live band and great food. We were also close enough to walk to a charming area featuring a cider brewery, wine and chocolate tastings, and shops, where we enjoyed a glass of wine under the stars in a little space set up for visitors. The only downside is there’s no pool; the staff said there used to be one, but now it’s just a dirt area. It’s not a 5‑star resort, but it’s a clean, romantic stopover for a quick retreat.

“It was what we needed.”

The room was calm, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor seating areas, however, weren’t really set up or cleaned for guests, giving us the impression that we were there in the off‑season.

“Sweet roadside motel countryside getaway”

The place was super cute, quaint, and clean, and the backside of the property offered excellent stargazing. We stayed in room 2; the first night was great, but the second night was noisy because of a guest next door. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

“A really convenient, nicely placed motel with surprisingly large living spaces and comfortable beds”

The online check‑in is really convenient, especially since everything is done remotely so you just get your door key code on your phone and can check in immediately. The room is huge with a living area, TV, kitchen, and a twin‑beded bedroom. No criticisms.
